Sausage and Peppers Sheet Pan Dinner

A classic sheet-pan dinner of roasted sausages with sweet peppers and onions, served on rolls. Simple, hearty, and perfect for a weeknight meal. Sourced from America's Grow-a-Row.
Ingredients
Primary
- Peppers— 2-3, sliced into strips
- Onions— 1, sliced into strips
Additional / Pantry
- 1 pack 6 sausages (pork, chicken, turkey, or vegetarian)
- 1 pack rolls
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees and line a sheet pan with aluminum foil or parchment paper for easy clean up.
- Lay the sausages in a line in the middle third of the pan and cook in the oven for 15-20 minutes.
- While the sausages are cooking, slice the peppers and onion into strips. Toss with oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Remove the sheet pan from the oven and flip the sausages. Pile the peppers and onions on the remaining half of the sheet pan.
- Cook for 10 more minutes, or until the sausages are cooked through and the peppers are soft and starting to brown.
- Remove from the oven and serve sausages on the rolls and top with peppers and onions.
Notes
Chef's Tip: Serve with a side salad — mixed baby greens, tomatoes, corn, and feta cheese.
