This Privacy Policy describes how Fairgrown Farm LLC handles information when you use Fairgrown Connect and its associated web portals (collectively, the "App"). By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

Device Permissions & Protected Resources

Fairgrown Connect requests access to certain device capabilities only when a feature you are using requires them. We never request access at app launch unless it is needed for the app to function, and we never use these capabilities to track you, build advertising profiles, or share data with third parties. Bluetooth (NSBluetoothAlwaysUsageDescription / NSBluetoothPeripheralUsageDescription): The App uses Bluetooth to connect your device to wireless barcode scanners and thermal label printers used in our packing, receiving, and warehouse operations. For example, when a staff member is receiving inventory from a producer or packing a customer order, Bluetooth lets the App receive scanned lot-barcode numbers from a handheld scanner and send lot-label print jobs to a connected label printer. Bluetooth is used solely for this operational hardware communication; it is not used to track your location, scan for nearby devices, or serve advertising. Speech Recognition (NSSpeechRecognitionUsageDescription): The App uses speech recognition to let staff enter notes and log entries hands-free while working in the field or warehouse where typing is impractical. For example, when recording a harvest log, field note, or other operational entry, a staff member can speak and the App transcribes their words into the notes field of that record. The spoken audio is used only to produce the text that appears in the App and is not stored separately or shared with any third party for advertising or analytics. You can withdraw permission for any of these capabilities at any time in your device Settings. The App will continue to work; the features that rely on them will simply be unavailable until you grant access again.

Your Data Stays in the App

Fairgrown Connect is operated by Fairgrown Farm LLC ("Fairgrown," "we," or "us"). This App is used by Fairgrown, our partner customers, producers, and staff to coordinate orders, deliveries, payroll, and related operations. We do not collect data from you through this App. Every piece of information you enter — account & contact details, orders, deliveries, payroll entries, delivery signatures, and photos — is kept inside the App and used only to run the work you do with Fairgrown.

We Do Not Sell or Externally Share Your Data

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it outside of Fairgrown. The information you put into the App stays in the App and is only visible to the people within Fairgrown and the partners you are directly working with (for example, a delivery driver fulfilling your order, or a producer confirming your purchase). Your information is never sent to outside advertisers, data brokers, or any third party for their own use.

Keeping Your Information Secure

Your information is stored securely within the App. Access is limited to the Fairgrown team members and partners who need it to do their work with you, and each user signs in with their own account. We use reasonable safeguards to protect the information kept in the App.

Deleting Your Information

You can request deletion of your account at any time from the App's account settings. Some records (such as completed invoices or historical order data) may be kept where we are required to by law or by standard business record-keeping obligations, but the personal information tied to your login will be removed.

Children's Privacy

The App is intended for use by Fairgrown, our business partners, producers, and staff. The App is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically to stay informed.
